PER DIEM EXPERIENCED CPA
 
North Shore CPA firm in business for over 30 years, currently seeking a CPA with 5 plus years of public accounting experience to work 30 plus hours per week during tax season.  This position offers a hybrid remote work schedule and flexibility in scheduling your hours.  Post tax season employment is available if desired.
 
Our practice is primarily made up of closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.  We provide reviewed financial statements, tax planning/compliance and business advisory services.  The success of our firm is based on delivering excellent personal client service.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
• Directly support firm’s clients providing accounting, tax planning and business consulting.
 
• Respond to client's tax questions, research tax issues and work with clients to collect the necessary information for tax   
  return completion and compliance.
 
• Independently prepare and coordinate timely filings of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns.
 
• Preparation of reviewed financial statements a plus.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• CPA with 5 plus years of recent experience in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation.
 
• Experience with UltraTax and the Creative Solutions suite software preferred.
 
• Proficient using QuickBooks accounting software.
 
• Strong background in personal and corporate taxation, especially S Corporations.
 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good computer skills.
 
• Ability to muti-task.
 

COMPENSATION: SALARY $65k TO $85K. Tax season bonus based on performance.
